Baby-moon
Chris and I are currently enjoying our "last" alone vacation together. After much arm twisting (wink, wink) , we agreed to stay down at my Dad and Maureen's Jersey Shore house while they were away. It's hit us quite a few times that this will be the last time we are away and we don't have anyone else to worry about (although Burton does cause us concern at times, he's pretty quick, so we figure he can just run from trouble).
That realization has made us enjoy this time together even more. We've been taking a lot of nice long morning and evening walks together, sitting on the deck listening to the birds (or the dogs barking... either one) , and just having some good conversation. While we are enjoying this time together, at the same time, I think we both look forward to having our little girl with us this time next year!
I had my 20 week doctor visit and spoke to her about some cramping I was having. I was informed that this is completely normal, and is known as "Round Ligament Stretching".... yumm.... sounds great! It's basically my ligaments stretching to allow for growth. Hence why my skirt was not fitting above my hips the other day!
Other then that, we had a great check up. Moving right along!

It's a girl!!
We went and got our 2nd sonogram today and recieved the great news that we're having a little baby girl!! Watch out Burton, here come the bows!!
The doctor said everything is progressing very well- "Magenta" (as we're calling her) is right on weight at 11oz and looks healthy (Daddy made sure to count 10 fingers and 10 toes on the screen!)
We are extremly excited and can't wait to see our little baby girl in another 18-20 weeks!
