Fall Fun Days

These are a collection from the past few weeks of visit's with Mysh, Logan and Piper.

"Hey Alfie, come in and play!"

Gigi and Piper- 5 months

Play dough time with all the kids! Notice Piper getting in on the action

Cedar Creek Park- 5 playgrounds!

Mima's house- making cookies!

Two very good helpers (when they weren't distracted by the wind blowing by)

Reaping the benefits of cookie making, along with some hot cocoa.

Christmas Photo Shoot

We got together with Nicole and Avery and brought the girls to Water Street, in front of Browne's Stationary.  It's a beautiful cobblestone street, lined with historic buildings.  Perfect for a photo shoot!

Bronx Zoo

We headed to the Bronx Zoo for some fall fun in early November.  Nana and Grandpa met us there, and we had a great time checking out all the animals.  It was the perfect time to go, very small crowds and since the weather was cooler, all the animals were out and about.
On our way there, all we heard about were the "squirrels and whales."  J was pumped to see both.   We were able to check the squirrels off our list rather quickly (and about 500 more times, although each time prompted an excited scream), and added to the list, monkeys & baboons.

The day wrapped up with a ride on the carousel.  Very tired and happy kids!

Halloween, Bunny-Style

Professional Trick-or-Treater was our nick-name for Jocelyn this year.  It took her only about 3 stores to get the hang of it.  "I walk in, open my bag, say "Happy Halloween", they insert candy, I say "Thank-you".  Repeat.
Nothing fazed her.  Not the headless man who handed out candy at the hardware store (who scared poor Avery to death), nor the zombie who was in his apartment (she had a one track mind)- candy.
Since Halloween was on a Monday this year, we had a weekend full of activities and parties.

Jocelyn and Avery, her BFF

Sabella the Giraffe, J, Grant the Dinosaur and Avery the Lamb

Mysh & Billy came in on Sunday for the downtown festivities.  We headed over to the South Street Seaport for their festival, including story readings with the Bernstein Bears.

Mommy and her little bear, over at Washington Market Park

Halloween day- hitting the streets! We headed over to Tribecca and the stores over there.  It was insane!

The girls got some good loot!

Taking their time as they scooped out where to go next

City Hall Restaurant was handing out not only candy, but hot Sangria and candied apples for the adults

Decisions, decisions.... which one do I take? Trick or Treating in Avery's building

Not phased in the least by the Mummy- he had some good stuff!
